The Oshawa Kicks Under 10 girls, coached by Steve Penfold and Alistair Renshaw,  brought home the "Champion" title from the September 6 & 7th Ottawa Kickin' In the Capital Tournament.  This first year team met with the Keptville Cougars on Saturday morning resulting in a 0-0 tie.  That afternoon they went head to head against Nepean City Storm and won with a score of 1-0.  Sunday morning saw the girls arriving to the pitch before 7:00am pumped and ready to go.  They easily won the first game against the Goulbourn Gators 1-0.  During the second game on Sunday the girls were determined to put another win under their belt, and goalie Jordan was determined to defend her 0 goals against in tournament play record.  The result was a 6-0 victory over the home team, the Ottawa Royals Hellenic team. 

The final game was tense as the girls played hard throughout regulation time to end the game with a 0-0 draw.  After 10 minutes of overtime play the score remained tied at 0-0.  Determined the Kicks goalie Jordan confidently took her place in net to face Kemptville's five best strikers in penalty shots.  Jordan was on fire and easily secured  her teams  3-1 victory! 

Congratulations to the entire U10 Kicks Storm team for a dynamite weekend.  Team members include: Sierra, Mackaylen, Ashley, Kierstyn, Shannon, Emma, Jessica, Lauryn, Maggie, Kylie, Stephanie, Jordan, Megan, and Victoria.
