Oshawa Kicks House League Coordinator

Location:  Oshawa, Ontario

Terms and Length of Job:   400 hours From Mid-April – Mid-August

Rate of Pay:  $4000.00

Job Description: 

This is a full time summer position working with the House League Administrator.  Duties will include phone and in person public relations, coordinatating and managing special events such as tournaments, Fun Day, Picture day and the Annual 5km run.  The successful candidate will be expected to independently manage a satellite site within Oshawa, for which duties will include day to day communications with Players, Referees, Coaches, and Parents, daily set up and take down of equipment, distribution of materials to parents & coaches, and a daily report to be submitted to the house league Administrator.

Job Qualifications: 

The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and a demonstatrated record of the ability to work independently and as a self starter.  Applicants should be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a fast paced environment interacting with a myriad of people of different ages.   A background in soccer is preferred but not necessary.

Some physical labour may be required.

The successful applicant must have their own transportation to and from sites and be available evenings and some weekends.
